Department Description and Cultural Expectations

The candidate must have 3-5 years’ experience of Management.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as management, follow-up, and organizational skills required.

Other ad hoc requests as assigned by management, including data analysis, process improvements and reconciliations.

Broad knowledge of the Accounting processes, systems and best practices.

May require knowledge of or ability to quickly learn specialized software.

Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Assists Corporate Finance with the month-end and year-end close processes.

Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field

5+ years’ experience in job cost accounting, or related experience

Related experience in project cost and security industry preferred

Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) with a specific focus on percentage-of-completion accounting

Strong time management and organization skills.

Strong people management skills including recruiting, development, and performance management.

Ownership of the Company’s consolidate cash position, including management of the cash process and related controls.

Manage Vendor onboarding and management process and related controls.

Special projects and project management as assigned.

Manage the Accounts Payable staff to ensure work is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with Company procedures.

Active CPA required with minimum of five years of experience in audit and general accounting roles.

Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards as it relates to the construction industry.

Financial planning and data analysis capabilities.

Strong Excel and presentation skills.

Manage financial reporting of DMW Mexico subsidiary financial reporting.

Maintain DMW’s project costing and reporting systems.
