The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology is looking for a motivated individual to fill an Assistant Controller position in Rapid City, SD. Responsible for providing high-level support to Controller in managing the university’s accounting and financial activities; to include preparing financial reports, forecasting financial health, writing and reviewing internal controls, reconciling, and assisting with the annual budget process.
A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management or related field, with 1 to 3 years of related experience is required. Candidates must be capable of supervising and interacting with students, administration, and faculty.
