Overview Premium Auditor I is responsible for auditing insurance policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations. They review policy documents, analyze financial information, and conduct interviews with policyholders to ensure that the policy is accurate and up to date. They also provide recommendations to insurance companies on how to improve their policies and processes. Detailed Job Description Premium Auditor I is responsible for auditing insurance policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least two years of experience in insurance auditing
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of auditing techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in insurance auditing
• Experience in conducting interviews with policyholders
• Experience in analyzing financial information
Job Responsibilities
• Review insurance policies to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Analyze financial information to ensure accuracy of policy documents
• Conduct interviews with policyholders to verify accuracy of policy documents
