Detailed Job Description A Peer Specialist provides support and guidance to individuals with mental health issues. Peer Specialists provide support to individuals in a variety of ways, including: providing emotional support, helping individuals to identify and access resources, providing education and information about mental health issues, and helping individuals to develop coping strategies.
