Assists clinical staff with facilitating groups, case management, skills training and non-clinical interventions.
Certification as a Recovery Support Specialist/Peer Support Specialist from an ADHS/DBHS approved education program (GRHC will provide training if needed).

Peer Specialists provide support to individuals in a variety of ways, including: providing emotional support, helping individuals to identify and access resources, providing education and information about mental health issues, and helping individuals to develop coping strategies.
