Product Development & Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements needed in order to be successful:

Minimum 4 years in Cosmetic or Fragrance industry, or other relevant consumer goods organizations with proven development experience

As the Sourcing & Product Development Manager,

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

Experience in consumer product hardgoods, preferably technology categories critical.Licensed Products experience is a plus

3+ years of sourcing and product development experience

Strong project management skills to include time management, prioritization, co-ordination and communication.

Knowledge of cosmetics packaging regulations (fill levels, DOT hazmat requirements, deceptive packaging, etc..)

Knowledge of cosmetics packaging materials and manufacturing to include (extrusion and injection) blow molding, injection molding, metal pressing and print technologies.

Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and train junior Developers

Very strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills for verbal and written communication of ideas, technical rationales, risks, issues and recommendations.

Conducting and communicating risk assessment studies centered around the packaging.
