Location preference for this position is: North Olmsted (OH), Maumee (OH), Oak Creek (WI) or Charlotte (NC). This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.


  • Scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, or increase capacity
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor sourcing category leaders and be proficient in performance management activities by setting and achieving goals, managing workload, delegating work, and coaching
  • Manage communication with executive and cross-functional teams to support new product development, continuous improvement, and quality improvement while reducing supply chain risk
  • Develop, Lead, and manage supply chain strategy and supply base for one or more categories
  • Lead Sourcing team resources – direct and matrixed - to develop and implement Category strategies and deliverables to support business objectives
  • Lead and deploy annual goal setting activities with suppliers and manage internal cost down and budget setting activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a global sourcing environment, with at least 3 years managing direct reports or leading cross-functional teams
  • History of acquiring and developing suppliers and supply chains to secure capacity to support business growth
  • Demonstrated competence identifying continuous improvement opportunities and total cost analysis for existing and new product categories
  • Proven ability to manage executive-level business relationships with cross functional leaders and suppliers
  • Proven negotiation skills and utilization of fact-based negotiation tactics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Organization and project management skills with a high attention to detail under time constraints
  • Outstanding communication skills to influence and persuade cross functional teams and company leadership
  • At least 6 years’ experience managing packaging categories including corrugate (sheet and box), print, shrink film, pallets, and labels
