Provide technical expertise, assistance, and/or oversight for the following HSE programs at the facility:

Occupational safety programs (e.g., LOTO, confined space entry)

Incident investigation (Root Cause Analysis) and corrective/preventative actions implementation oversight

Assist the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) by:

Serving as an Authorized User and backup to the RSO

Senior EHS Specialist Education/Experience Requirements:

BS degree in a technical field required with a preference –

Master’s degree in an Engineering Field is a plus.

B.S. Degree and / or Professional Certification in Environmental, Health, and Safety Management preferred.

Use data systems to track client compliance deadlines, key events, and client specific requirements.

Public speaking skills, able to function in diverse work environments and relate to diverse class groups.

EH&S Specialist II additional requirements include but are not limited to:

Aware of and comply with the Client Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality

Education – 2 or 4-year post-secondary degree, with coursework in occupational and environmental safety and health

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

An ideal candidate would have had the following experience:

General knowledge of EHS programs, such as incident investigation, ergonomics, LOTO, confined space, hazard analysis, emergency preparedness, industrial hygiene, etc.

• Maintain contractor on-boarding EHS requirements for Facilities.

· Oversee installation, maintenance, disposal of substances. Ensure safe protocols for waste management.

· Should have experience providing safety training to workers.

· Familiar with OSHA requirements, environmental regulations

· Good experience using computer tools including MS Office. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

· Provide HSE training, including FA/CPR/AED and NFPA 70E.

· Maintain databases about safety and trainings.
