Night Auditor Front Desk Jobs in New York

Address any discrepancies or issues found during the audit process and communicate with management to resolve them.

Proficient in using hotel management software, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a positive experience during their stay.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or accounting is a plus.

Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role is preferred.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.

Guest Loyalty and Recognition: Recognize and acknowledge repeat guests and VIP’s. Offer personalized surprise and delight moments when possible and appropriate.

Previous experience in a luxury hotel front desk or night audit role is preferred.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Nightly Audit: Conduct the nightly audits of the hotel's systems.

Nightly Reports: Prepare and distribute accurate and timely reports. Complete end-of-shift reports and distribute them to the appropriate departments.

Apply feedback to improve performance; Monitor own work to ensure quality. Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.

Manage difficult or emotional customer situations; Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.

Contribute to building a positive team spirit; ask for and offer help when needed.

Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.

Post charges (i.e. room, food, telephone), compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.

Handle guest mail and messages.
