New Energy Consultant Jobs in Iowa

5+ years experience in residential or commercial energy efficiency

Experience with energy modeling platforms, such as OpenStudio with EnergyPlus, Passive House, eQUEST, and/or IES

Commercial construction industry in Massachusetts or experience working with commercial construction at a utility, public agency or non-governmental organization

Knowledge of building science principles and/or construction building codes

Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy or related subjects, with experience in energy and/or economic data and models

Some knowledge of electric power, petroleum, natural gas, or renewable energy markets and infrastructure.

Proficiency in research and writing skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly

Strong quantitative and data analysis skills, specifically in the use of spreadsheets

Experience using economic and statistical modeling a plus

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Access) skills

Assess learner skill and knowledge needs, provide feedback and offer suggestions for improvement and support resources

2-3 years experience in a client service position; prior implementation, project management, or training experience a plus

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Perform assigned responsibilities relating to client training, attendance reporting, evaluations and survey responses.

Four-year degree or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of payroll preferred; must demonstrate payroll knowledge upon conclusion of new hire training

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Efficiently navigate multiple technology systems (web phone, scripts/forms, chat, CRM, document management tool, payment processing, etc) concurrently

Work with management on an ongoing basis to improve processes and overall performance

Manage active and timely follow up on all leads (following a defined callback cadence); track leads

3+ years of Inside Sales experience

Must be a self-starter and exhibit problem solving skills
