Category Management experience working with Added-Value Resellers (VAR), Hardware, SaaS and/or Professional Service/Contingent Labor vendors.

Strong project management experience in dealing and managing multiple competing priorities.

Ensure active workload balancing, prioritization, execution, and KPI management of the team for effectiveness and efficiency improvements.

Close working partnership with merchandising, interior design, inventory management and logistics/fulfillment.

Strong negotiation skills with experience working with and managing/optimizing AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce, Datadog, and other engineering/ SaaS technologies.

Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and interpersonal. Experience interfacing with senior-level stakeholders.

Strong meeting management and facilitation skills.

Lead change management within the impacted groups to transition them to adopting new business processes and technologies

Mentor/coach analysts/sourcing managers through the use of Strategic Sourcing processes and tools required to meet their job requirements and goals.

8+ years’ experience and /or the education listed above.

Develop product knowledge and understanding of category roles and business strategy in the group.

8+ years of negotiating contracts, managing strategic supplier alliances and buying experience.

Mitigate company financial liabilities through inventory management with suppliers.

Strong meeting management and facilitation skills.

Facilitate cross functional meetings to ensure sourcing projects stay on timeline and communicate to upper management on challenges, risks, and obstacles.

Summarize financials and present recommendations to business unit and senior management.

6-8 years’ experience and /or the education listed above.

Manage cost increase process and negotiations for the assigned categories including analysis, negotiations, and communication to stakeholders.

Experience with Cost Analysis, Financial Management / Budget management & supplier negotiation

Gain knowledge of any/all regulations, statutes, and laws regarding compliance requirements on categories assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering or related field

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) credentials is an advantage

Supply chain materials solutions, including Supplier Managed Inventory and consigned stock.

Demonstrate accountability and knowledge on competitor analysis, market, benchmarks, legislation and drivers of their categories.

Contract drafting, negotiation and management skills for both GPO and local contracts as well as managing the RFP process

Relationship building, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills

Ability to develop and maintain strong vendor relationships

Ability to work in cross-functional teams (e.g. value analysis teams and administration support staff)

Ability to maintain internal customer and supplier relationships to ensure successful contract implementation and operational effectiveness

Supports demand planning and forecasting

Evaluate commodity/raw material market trends to make strategic recommendations for market commodity management

Manage a total spend between $50-80M

Identify, cultivate, and manage vendor and industry relationships

Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a related field such as Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or another Purchasing or Operations related field

3-5+ years experience in direct sourcing, purchasing, or procurement required; experience with packaging materials, indirect materials, or food ingredients preferred

Sourcing, purchasing, or procurement experience within CPG or food industries preferred

Develop commodity strategy which fully reflects requirements of the team members.

Develop and make recommendations regarding sourcing strategies, requirements planning, and revenue generation using analytics.
