National Field Team Organizer Jobs

5+ years' experience in video news reporting, preferably in a top 55 market

Demonstrated experience with live news presentation and strong ability to ad lib

Accurately and professionally present breaking news live on the scene during developing news events

Produce compelling and urgent reports both live and in package form.

Use cutting edge and experimental story-telling techniques to communication with the audience.

Work both independently and with other reporters, videographers and producers to generate finished news packages.

Understands and is proficient in all elements of the “NUHHCE Organizing Model”.

Conducts one-on-one organizing, recruit supporters and leaders, guide their activities on behalf of the Union, and identifies attitudes of individual workers.

Recruits volunteer organizers from within the NUHHCE membership.

Develops broad, representatives organizing committees of worker-leaders, and trains and deploys them to move the campaign.

Experience with successful project development, management, execution, and multitasking is required

Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills

Experience selling within academic medical centers and/or government hospital accounts, including work with residents, fellows, and/or pharmacy managers is preferred

Display expert-level knowledge, demonstration, and ability to coach/assess the product, anatomy, injection procedure, and injection trainings.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Successful experience working with teams representing a rich mix of talent, backgrounds, and perspectives.

1+ cycles of electoral campaign experience, community, issue, labor, or political organizing a plus.

Track all volunteer outreach and engagement in VAN and submit daily reports.

Plan and execute organizing online, including hosting virtual events and in-person organizing actions, events, and trainings, including phone banks and canvasses.

Excellent communication skills are a requirement.

Raise funds to support our research, lobbying and educational campaigns.

Advocate for progressive causes and influence decision makers at the national, state, and local levels, amplifying your impact on critical issues.

Provide communication with people that is independent of the mass media.

Recruit members by collecting signatures and contact info.

Deep commitment to promoting diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion is essential.

Manage database of grasstops supporters for these states, with frequent reporting required.

Experience with Microsoft Office, including experience with position-specific technologies;

Experience advancing policy in the Midwest region;

Experience working within or around the labor movement.

Strong analytic and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to create and implement organizing plans;

Self-starter, highly motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks;

Partners with COE Marketing manager on projects to support field marketing team on business growth and project management

Drives alignment through consistent communication

Serve as SME in identified responsibility

Standardize and maintain promotions communication

Review and verify media plans and messaging calendars

Create fact sheets and monthly marketing updates for stakeholders

Coordinate with RTTC capacity building program to offer resources and training for hub organizational evolution

8 - 10 years of base building & organizing experience working on local or statewide campaigns

At least 4 years of experience building and leading multi-sector, multi regional / geographic coalitions

Ability to write and speak Spanish, prefer bilingual/bicultural experience with organizing

Able to work independently while maintaining close communication with remote teams

Supervisory experience, team leadership, training and mentoring others
