Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Assist the physician and nursing staff in performance of endoscopic procedures

Certification with National Board Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting

BLS certification required (American Heart Association)

Assists in the care, preparation and maintenance of sterile and un-sterile equipment

Demonstrates ability to apply principles of sterile technique

Assists in the safe transfer and positioning of patients according to accepted procedure
