Merchandising Operations Associate Jobs

Act as a liaison between the Category Merchandising, Production, Logistics, Merchandise Development and Project Management teams

Autonomously manage product data entry, integrity and accuracy

Create ad hoc reports based on business needs (i.e. management requests, inventory & sales reporting, etc.)

One to two years relevant experience in a product, merchandising, retail sales, or buying role.

Additional one year related experience in place of a degree

Analytical Skills and understanding of Merchandising KPIs.

Experience investigating, capturing and maintaining product data in an information management system or complex database is preferred

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 4 years relevant experience may be substituted

Continue to provide Category Managers with accurate and meaningful weekly progress updates on critical vendors in onboarding.

Duration: 3+ months of contract with possible Extension

Supports and improves Perigold’s Go To Market (GTM) process in partnership with Editorial, Creative and Category Management

Experience in analyzing data sets to derive useable insights

Passionate about the customer with an interest in delivering an exceptional customer experience

Prior experience in buying, merchandising, fashion, or similar a plus, but not required

Manage System data entry and data maintenance of Purchase Orders

Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong collaborator and communicator (written and verbal) that can act as the liaison between multiple cross-functional teams

3+ years of experience in a process-driven, operational function, preferably in apparel industry

Strong Excel Skills (pivots, vlookups)

Develop relationships & organizational liaison between cross functional peers across Sourcing, Design, Product Development

2+ years of experience in program or project management

Experience using Jira, or similar program management tool

Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field

Manage product order processing and fulfillment activities

Experience with product sampling or reviews seeding

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exemplary stakeholder management and prioritization skills using systems, processes, and scalable frameworks

Partner with IT teams to construct downstream impact analysis and own change management for process improvements.

Data modeling experience in Merchandising, Finance, Retail/Ecommerce

Proven experience leading operational excellence through data driven lean process improvements

Demonstratable experience in building data visualizations and translating complex data into actionable insights

Strong leadership skills with minimum of 2 years managing people

Manage and answer direct vendor requests through CRM under Service Level Agreements (SLA) and KPIs related to speed and quality

BA in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related degree

1+ years of related work experience and demonstrated track record of innovation and impact

Experience using dashboards to monitor KPIs, identify and correct defects, perform root cause analysis on KPI misses

Proficient Excel and MS Office skills

Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)

BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance or similar

May participate in system implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).

0-3 years of experience in a business systems or merchandising analytics capacity as a subject-matter expert

Advanced experience with Microsoft suite products

General experience using SQL queries and/or Tableau reports

Relevant work experience using Python or R for data analytics
