– Merchandising Operations Associate
Full-Time / 6+month Contract
Hybrid / Bellevue, WA
Job Summary: As a Merchandising Operations Associate, you'll play a vital role in the Category Merchandising team through accurate input and maintenance of all category line plan data and timely communication of updated information. You'll manage data across multiple systems and understand the architecture of product lines. You will also organize and maintain the category product samples and assist Merchants in setting up critical meetings. In addition, you'll participate in ad hoc cross-category projects as assigned. The role is perfect for a team player with drive, curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills and who knows how to build relationships and deliver results in a complex and fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do
- Autonomously manage product data entry, integrity and accuracy
- Assist the merchants in developing, implementing, and managing new scalable processes related to business and product strategy
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and help with meeting preparation as required.
- Create ad hoc reports based on business needs (i.e. management requests, inventory & sales reporting, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between the Category Merchandising, Production, Logistics, Merchandise Development and Project Management teams
What you’ll bring
- Ability to lift and carry samples and bags weighing up to 50lbs
- Thorough attention to detail, understanding the importance of consistency
- One to two years relevant experience in a product, merchandising, retail sales, or buying role.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities at once and meet tight deadlines
- Additional one year related experience in place of a degree
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, both formal and informal
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MSFT (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical Skills and understanding of Merchandising KPIs.
- Tolerance for ambiguity
- Ability to manage against a calendar with critical milestones and subsequent deliverables
