Mechatronics Engineer Seating Systems Jobs

3+ years of experience as an operations engineer, field support engineer, mechatronics engineer, or similar role

Experience with mechanical design using 3D CAD

Good knowledge and understanding of Mechatronics

Programming experience with embedded systems

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Ability to interface effectively with remote engineering team members to ensure timely resolution of operational issues

Ability to communicate and direct supplier activities at the management level

Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between Suppliers and Tesla Purchasing, Quality, and Design teams

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or evidence of experience and exceptional ability

Experience in Quality Systems a plus: PPAP/APQP processes

Mechanical design and optimization of pedestrian and occupant restraint systems.

Determine locations and mounting arrangements of transducers and ECUs.

NX, Solidworks, AutoCAD, PLM, SAP knowledge, and experience engineering to SEMI Standards are a plus.

Experienced/advanced working knowledge of Office Suite, MS Project, and related communication applications.

Run complex mechatronic systems for test and qualification of design changes.

1+ years of experience working in the field of Mechatronics.

Ability to work overtime based on business requirements.

1+ years of experience using 3D CAD software collaboratively (Catia V5/V6, 3DX, etc.)

1+ year of experience in the production release process

1+ year of experience in a factory setting launching a new product

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, and control systems.

Experience with software programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Python for control system development.
