Mechanical Department Head Jobs

Develop & implement a department business plan to achieve desired results by collaborating with store management & associates.

Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit & loss reviews, & take appropriate action on all financial reports.

Execute management functions across various clients and funding vehicles as required/assigned by management.

Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders of assigned projects.

Minimum 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience

Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required; required to pass a mechanical aptitude test

Basic computer navigation and utilization skills

Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies.

Install fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, rivnuts, helicoils, keenserts, and adhesives.

Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers.

Experience leading a function (i.e. team, department manager, etc) and managing others

Foster positive relationships with college partners and stakeholders to strengthen JerseySTEM's presence in educational institutions.

Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap

Experience with Universities and College campuses

Support and collaborate with teams in Business Development, Student Groups, and Individuals.

Participate in hiring, budgeting, and marketing activities to ensure smooth college engagement operations.

Have excellent time management skills

Understands and performs KWF inventory management functions.

Participates in scheduled management and departmental meetings to ensure core operational functions are followed.

Works in cooperation with Apothecary Department Head & Store Manager to closely maintain all elements of department sales performance.

Participates in Manager on Duty assignments as needed.

Supports store experience by upholding KWF Guidelines for staff appearance, energy, quality, and cleanliness.

7 years of relevant sales experience including management of SDR and AE functions and a track record of exceeding quota

Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives

Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

Strong leadership and team building skills

Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals

Management of multiple projects simultaneously

Experience executing BIM plans, including knowledge of best practices

Experience Working in Mechanical HVAC Design

Writing skills - ability to put together a report for a client in an orderly/professional fashion

Ability to Communicate Effectively While Managing Multiple Workloads and Clients
