Mechanical Assembler Iii Jobs in Virginia

8 + years of experience (Shipboard experience highly preferred).

An OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain a certification.

Experience in the fabrication and precision assembly of various mechanical assemblies.

Possibly supervise a small team.

Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to fabricate and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies.

Be attentive to safety (which is critical).

Assemble components such as bearings and install couplings on shafts

Use basic hand tools to fabricate, assemble and install components

Able to read shop drawings

Show up to work on time every day

Able to work safely in a Heavy Industrial environment

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

First Shift ( Monday through Friday )

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Applicant may be subject to a background check

Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report

Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment

What's in it for you?

$20-25hr about 10 hours of OT 30% of the time.

CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification (equal to 1 year of work experience)

One year of experience working with computer hardware components

Experience with the following IPC standards preferred: IPC/WHMA-A-620,

Building computer servers to customer and technical specifications

Following daily production schedule and work instructions

Becoming proficient at all Build Stations
