Essential Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years in automation or related experience in manufacturing.

Experience in building new electro-mechanical machinery, preferably packaging machinery.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills • Team-oriented and collaborative

Visual Acuity – Normal requirements for reading written instructions and computer screens

Assemble, test, and package units and accessories per the assembly procedures to meet the production schedule

Performs visual inspections of components prior to and during assembly

Records information on device history records (DHRs) for traceability

Responsible for recommending process improvements that increase the quality or efficiency of building units and accessories

Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:

Experience with fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, inventory control and maintenance of instrumentation and programmable electronic equipment.

Cryogenic or vacuum technical experience.

Experience working as a technician at a synchrotron facility or laboratory.
