Total compensation up to $135,000 * Updated NEW rates as of 2/2023

Must maintain a satisfactory driving record and provide consent to company for review of driving record(s).

One to two years of vet assistant related experience and/or training preferred.

Strong interpersonal communication skills required.

Drive with care and caution; observe speed limits and practice safe driving rules.

Carefully handle the animals during loading and unloading & securing crates in the vehicle.

Review transport animal surgery paperwork to verify all animals are accounted for and are on return delivery.

Ensuring vehicle is cleaned and cared for after every use.

Adhere strictly to guidelines and/or instructions provided by senior management

Entry Level training certificate from an accredited truck driving school or Equivalent Transportation Experience

Must possess basic math skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.

Consent to and pass a pre-employment DOT Drug Screen

Performing all other activities and responsibilities as requested and defined by management

2 Years of Professional CDL A Driving Experience

Document and provide appropriate client satisfaction information to Logistics Management.

Communicates all unresolved problems immediately to the appropriate Manager, Supervisor, for resolution.

Meet all training requirements in a timely manner as assigned.

1-3 years in logistics or transportation experience

Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements; weekends, holidays, on call and overtime.

Knowledge of computer to include Microsoft Word and Excel

1 year of commercial driving experience

Performs required pre and post trip vehicle inspections and maintains all required DOT documentation (including trip electronic logs)

Averages 2,000 - 2,300 miles per week

Averages 3-4 drop and hooks per shift

Typically transports products to and from our facilities

Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays, from 6:00pm - 3:30am

Document and provide appropriate client satisfaction information to Logistics Management.

General computer knowledge and experience with handheld scanner equipment preferred.

Follow all scan/documentation requirements including but not limited to tissue/irreplaceable and frozen tracking processes.

Meet all training requirements in a timely manner as assigned.

3-5 years of experience in a customer service, logistics, or pickup/delivery related job is required.

Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements; weekends, holidays, on call and overtime.

Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience

Use an electronic log to ensure a record of daily service hours following FMCSA, state, and company requirements

Ability to read and comprehend information relayed by Driver Manager or the Production, Receiving Facilities

Must have and maintain valid FMCSA physical certification for interstate driving

Pay Range: $55,000 - $58,000, depending on experience

Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
