Participate in product development and enhancements. Represent underwriting/service team perspective based on personal knowledge and experience. Participate in regional marketing rollouts.

Contribute to total division profitability by analyzing/assessing client profitability through experience and expense analysis and attention to product line performance.

4-6 years group life underwriting experience including both manual and experience rating

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Provide direction on advanced capabilities of all components of the product.

Adjust/Amend technical scope changes based on business requirements on projects.

Experience guiding junior developers in all aspects of the SDLC process

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field, or 8 years of relevant experience

Experience with Cloud platforms; Azure, AWS, or Google are preferred

Prior working experience in Insurance field

Workforce Management Experience (NICE IEX, Community)

Supporting Account Management, Client Delivery, and Product Management in developing external dashboards displaying metrics to external clients and brokers.

Forecasting call volume in Workforce Management and phone system and support call center scheduling as needed.

Hands on experience in Sales & Marketing

Experience working with Internet based job portals like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder.

Assist agents, managers and brokers in properly submitting requirements on individual life applications.

Conducts research in order to secure additional data needed to make determinations on benefits and rates.

You are able to work remotely and have access to high-speed internet.

Basic underwriting knowledge and expertise with health impairments for individual life insurance.

Creative problem-solving skills. Strong mathematical aptitude.
