Lead Supply Planner Jobs in New Jersey

Functional knowledge of planning, forecasting, purchasing execution and supplier relationship management, along with related supply chain areas

Manage product flow for maximum inventory efficiency based on suppler capabilities

Manage and enforce supplier compliance requirements

Work close with the Data Management team to ensure system integrity of supply chain parameters

Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures

Establish, monitor, and manage supplier delivery plans to achieve desired service levels, minimize stock-outs, working capital expense and delivery costs

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain

Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with looker or another data analytics/reporting tool preferred

Partner with Ops on receipt of placed PO’s and manage the volume that comes into the DC

Manage relationships with key vendors to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts

Critical thinking abilities and willingness to challenge the status quo

3-5 years of experience in Supply Planning or Purchasing roles (Food & Beverage industry preferred)

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, or business-related field. Master's degree a plus.

Plan: Develop and manage the rolling supply plan based on latest demand plan, inventory levels, supply chain and sourcing variables.

Validate: Manage contractor invoicing and billing ensuring validity.

Experience in the consumer goods industry is strongly preferred. Food, Drug, Mass channels is a plus. Personal care category a plus.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external suppliers.

Detailed scheduling and execution support as needed including transactional workload and logistics support on order and delivery management

Strong knowledge and experience with MS Excel and Powerpoint applications

Good knowledge and experience with SAP and Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (SAP APO or similar)

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management field

Lead monthly SIOP supply planning process, including translation of demand plan into feasible supply plan requirements

5 years of experience working with manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics operations
