Lead M.A. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Must be an experienced M.A. of at least 2 years in a high volume clinical practice.

Ability to organize work, set priorities and delegate tasks/responsibilities in order to meet deadlines

Pay may be higher than listed range, based on years of experience.

Current, nationally recognized Medical assistant Certification or Registration required

American Heart Association accredited Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.

One to two years of ambulatory care experience.

ICD-10 coding experience (2 years).

Brings patients to rooms and completes medical intake.

Assists physicians with injections, dressing changes, suture removals and minor procedures.

Completes FMLA, pre-authorization and disability forms.

Handles phone calls, patient complaints, medications, etc.

Files hospital op notes and dictation.

Works at satellite locations with the physician.
