Layout Engineer Jobs

Responsible for 100% first article casting layouts & delta layouts

Quarterly equipment calibrations plant wide

Be able to identify all types of casting defects

Assist in correcting non-conforming casting with scribe lines to bring suspect features or surfaces within blueprint tolerances for location and size.

Must be able to accurately use all types of MTE (height gages, micrometers, verniers, dial indicators, etc.)

Push or pull with up to 80 lbs. of force on an occasional basis when moving products

Remain up-to-date and trained on current manufacturing capabilities and options.

Reviews production order to ensure it matches Gemini's capabilities.

Completes and maintains records, production levels and job requirements.

All other duties as needed for the benefit of the group and organization.

Faxes, files and emails documentation for artwork approval process.

Receives and opens artwork via fax, scanner, e-mail or discs.

Manage and motivate workforce while understanding and applying Beck Core Values

Experience with commercial construction company preferred

Experience using Robotic Total Station hardware, Bluebeam, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus

Interpret construction documents, plans and specifications

Mastery in conflict management and objective thinking

Pull together input from internal teams to understand building requirements as a function of time and capacity

Compile and manage schedules and track milestones for space allocations with relation to programmatic targets

2+ years engineering experience with emphasis on layout

BS/MS in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Experience with Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD

Analysis capacity & management of new technologies in the design area

General principles and practice of engineering knowledge
