Communicates ticket times, executes food flow from kitchen to guests, and reports potential issues to Manager on duty

Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.

Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training

Prepares menu items according to Flanigan’s company recipe manual and plate presentation

Ensures rotation of all products and stocks products to par level, to ensure kitchen is not disrupted

Helps complete assigned prep work, to stock and set up stations as necessary

Prepare items according to direction and recipes from Chef/Management

Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred, but not required

Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 50lbs

Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Basic understanding of health standards and food safety

Maintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers

Following established food safety guidelines, recipes, standards, and procedures

Maintaining a clean and food-safe environment

Passionately prepare, portion, and/or cook food items to quality specifications

Assessing ingredients and items for freshness and quality, rotating product appropriately

2-3 years’ experience as a Prep/Line Cook in a full service, high volume Food and Beverage environment.

Adheres to standards of handling, preparing, serving and holding food products including but not limited to: FIFO, Temperature Danger Zone, cross-contamination.

Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies are upheld.

Perform other duties as assigned

Must be 18 years older

Valid California Food Handler required before first day
