Prep daily recipes in our brand new kitchen!

Description

Fun Depot’s newest addition Cordial, is looking to fill all BOH positions! We are in need of Line Cooks, Prep, and Dishwashers. If you would like to be a part of something new and fun, this job is for you.

Positive attitudes and friendly personalities only! You must be able and willing to learn, follow direction and work as a team.

As a prep cook at Cordial, you will prep a variety of food products including meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, stocks, etc. using a variety of utensils and equipment according to the Chef’s prep list. We need people who are able to follow directions with great time management skills. Our chef will prepare daily lists of recipes and items needed to run a successful shift; your job is to complete this list in a timely manner while maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace. While working with proteins speed will be required to ensure food stays in required temperature.

Prep Requirements:

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of health standards and food safety
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers

Responsibilities include:

  • Making sure all products are labeled and stored properly
  • Able to assist cooks on the line when needed
  • Prepare items according to direction and recipes from Chef/Management
  • Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workstations, coolers, and food storage areas
  • Understand and comply consistently with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure prep items are always available on the cook line and restocked as needed
  • Complete opening/closing checklists

Salary
