Trains Kitchen Helpers and volunteers on preparation work and food plating techniques.

Oversees the daily work tasks of Kitchen Helpers and volunteers.

Maintains all required Health Department certificates and licenses.

Coordinates food orders with center staff.

Advises higher rated cooks and/or management of anticipated problems.

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $22.00 to $23.00+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Understands the importance of personal hygiene, safe food handling practices, and advanced culinary skills.

Takes responsibility for the product used in their outlet and manages it to assure a quality product.

Takes direction from: Chefs, Sous Chefs, and outlet managers.
