Junior Tech Ops Engineer Jobs

Must have experience in release and change management, incident and problem management from both technology and process perspectives.

May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.

Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in all of the following:

Linux System Administration, System Monitoring and shell scripting skills;

Must have experience and awareness of the best practices, trends, and latest features of internet, SaaS, secure private cloud applications.

Experience with the following preferred:

3+ years of excellent project management experience for GxP systems implementation

Perform project management for small to medium projects and operations IT Change requests.

Guide vendor and system evaluations and selections by applying business experience to identify solutions complementary to VIR's strategic programs.

Oversee the work of external Managed Service Providers for responsible systems to ensure that system issues are resolved promptly

Manage system implementation and support for system upgrades and routine maintenance while overseeing GxP compliance.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, including Business, Sciences, IT or Engineering and 8 plus years of experience or equivalent

Leverage your innovative skills to identify ways to continually progress current processes

Bachelor’s degree with some experience in financial services

Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail

Preferred Experience in transfer of assets function in the Financial Industry

Partner with expert teams to review assets and transfers from start to finish to ensure a seamless process for our clients

Showcase your attention to detail by ensuring all transaction details are correctly captured

Partner with commercial, legal, finance and global supply chain for commercial forecasting, budgeting, and planning for all manufacturing deliverables

Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills for effectively interfacing with vendors and internal stakeholders

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Experience working with external CDMO/CRO partners, including support of tech transfer activities

Experience with cGMP commercial manufacturing is desired

Work alongside Risk and Trading desks to understand and facilitate trading requirements

1-3 years of experience supporting trading systems and/or trade applications

Hands-on experience with scripting languages

Monitor trading systems and work to identify and resolve complex issues

Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot to keep trading applications online

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
