4-8 years or more of experience in software automation testing or relevant experience which provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Knowledge of programming languages like Selenium/Java and process management methodology.

Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Management Tools; Jira, Zephyr, Test Rail

A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Identifies test approaches, coverage, and requirement gaps and risks.

Ensures requirements traceability in the team and identifies areas for improvement.

5+ years' industry experience in test automation.

Working knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

Experience in automation, web application testing, regression testing, test plan generation, and bug/defect tracking and reporting.

Hands-on experience with scripting in automation frameworks. Spiraplan Rapise is preferred.

Design test architecture (e.g. test automation framework) for the team to use across the development environment.

Responsible for creation, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated testing scripts using Inflectra Rapise with Spiraplan.

Contribute to the stabilization of Finalsite’s Enrollment Management System (EMS)

Interact with members from Support and Professional Services departments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Create and manage automated tests to expand test coverage of the existing automated test suite

Participate as part of a cross-functional team to create and manage tests.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.) or 1–3 years experience testing software.

Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills in a client/server and web based environment.

2+ years of experience in QA automation - specifically API testing using Soap UI/Postman

2+ years of experience with Java background

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking

**Role is 100% REMOTE but must work in PST zone**

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college

Working with peers both onsite and remotely.

2-4 years' experience in a QA Role

Minimum 1 year experience writing automated test scripts in Java using common classes and xpaths

Beginner's level of SQL and database knowledge

Ability to work with a majority remote team

Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
