QA Engineer Automation (Remote)

We are looking for a QA Engineer for a global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated testing scripts using best-of-breed automation tools/plug-ins.

This is a 3-month (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role. This is a remote role in the US.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Design test architecture (e.g. test automation framework) for the team to use across the development environment.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to work independently and also have a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and be familiar with agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Otherwise experience with other automation frameworks is desired, such as Protractor or Selenium with a willingness to quickly learn Spiraplan Rapise through independent training.
• 5+ years' industry experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with scripting in automation frameworks. Spiraplan Rapise is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies.
• Responsible for creation, execution, and maintenance of manual and automated testing scripts using Inflectra Rapise with Spiraplan.
• Experience in automation, web application testing, regression testing, test plan generation, and bug/defect tracking and reporting.

Compensation: $40/hr. - $43.50/hr.
