Excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to succinctly synthesize information and engage a variety of audience types

Internal/External Ambassador for McKesson Ventures. Author and present thought leadership and venture perspectives to both internal and external audiences

Proven understanding of dynamics and trends impacting the healthcare industry, with particular focus on prior exposure to the pharma industry

Demonstrated appreciation and affinity for the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the operational challenges associated with high growth, venture stage businesses

Understand and appreciate financial modeling, but also able to develop investment perspectives and recommendations based on limited financial information

Support all deal teams with deal analysis, reporting and administrative tasks including financial management and billing.

Liaise with the finance team and legal teams to identify dependencies and opportunities, fulfil special requests and support projects, as applicable.

1-3 years of applicable administrative, coordinator, and project coordination experience

Strong analytical & financial modelling skills so as to analyze a variety of statistics and maintain databases.

Relevant work experience at a Venture Capital, Private Equity or Family Office investments preferred.

Previous experience in strategy consulting is a plus

Bachelor’s degree from a top college or university, preferably in Economics, Finance, or other analytical disciplines

Ability to supervise, mentor, manage and develop talent

Develop investment theses and partner with Citi’s businesses and functions

Leverage internal signals by engaging with Citi colleagues and clients to understand their strategic priorities and roadmaps

Organize and attend venture capital and startup ecosystem events

Ideally investment banking, investing, consulting or operating experience in life sciences or healthcare, and/or an educational background in biology/science.

3-5 years of work experience, including a minimum of 2 years of investment experience.

An interest in our core sector areas of Education, Science, and Climate.

Outstanding business and investment judgment, as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent financial modeling skills and expertise with Microsoft Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will conduct comprehensive industry landscape analysis to identify trends and acquisition targets; present findings to senior management

You will help manage venture investment activities which includes sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio management

2-3 years of experience in corporate development at a tech company, a leading investment bank, or private equity firm

You will run build/buy/partner analyses for teams across the organization

You will track market developments and form relationships with acquisition targets in strategic areas

You will assist with driving the end-to-end execution of mergers & acquisitions and venture investments

3-5 years work experience in VC, PE, Investment Banking, consulting, tech, startup, or related field strongly preferred

Strong financial modeling skills including the ability to analyze and model company financials

Conduct investment research, financial analysis and modeling of potential investments

Develop in-depth assessment of business plans and investment proposals to determine business model viability, industry attractiveness and strategic fit

Participate in due diligence process with potential investments

Develop investment recommendations and supporting documents
