PhD degree in gender studies, economics, finance, or any other area relevant to the requirements of the TOR.

Experience of UN Women operations and development of strategic documents towards differentiated fundraising strategies towards gender equality.

Design and manage program evaluations for utility demand side management programs, with support from senior team members.

Education: Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) preferred. Bachelors may be okay only with 5+ years of experience in our specific industry.

Work with clients to understand their needs and how research can help them.

Integrate mixed methods research results into clear, actionable findings.

Present results to clients and help them understand how to implement changes based on our research.

Help guide and oversee junior staff in implementing research studies.

Education: University degree in Economics, Management, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business Administration, International Development or other relevant areas;

7. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Is the Project management, coordination and monitoring efficient and appropriate?

Proven knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies, summary of a proposed evaluation methodology is to be provided (up to 2 pages);

Required Qualifications, Experience and skills:

Support the development of IES knowledge products and materials and their dissemination as required.

A minimum of 4 years professional experience in qualitative/quantitative data collection and analysis, programme or corporate evaluation required.

Understanding of the UN system or experience working with an international organization an asset.

Demonstrated experience in the areas of gender equality and women’s empowerment, gender mainstreaming, gender analysis, and gender-responsive evaluation an asset.

Experience supporting or leading evaluation syntheses an asset.

Must meet educational requirements prior to employment start date.

Excellent interpersonal as well as oral and written communication skills are essential for success at NREL

Recent PhD graduate within the last three years in engineering, chemistry, materials science or a related field.

Familiarity with materials characterization techniques, particularly catalyst physical and textural property measurements.

Reaction engineering and catalytic performance testing to determine structure-function relationships, reaction mechanisms, and kinetics.

Presentation of findings in patents, high-impact journals, and conferences.

Has experience working with government agencies, CBOs, and/or non-profits

Has 2-4 years or more of full-time evaluation or similar applied research experience; Additional experience required for higher-level positions

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and engage with multiple project stakeholders
