Effective time management and organizational skills

Maintain effective communications (both orally and written) with supervisor, coworkers and the project management team.

Organize quality documents and store per the company and project document management procedures.

Develop strong working relationship with supervisor, coworkers and the project management team.

Identify detailed quality requirements required by the contract specifications and applicable codes and standards.

Perform source and receiving inspection of permanent materials and plant equipment for project requirements as needed.

Housekeeping as requested by management and participate in special projects and other assignmentsEssential duties and responsibilities:

Must pass and maintain all applicable Operator Qualification requirements associated with pipeline protection

Must be able to pass Operator Qualification requirements (OQ)

Provide support to Management and ROW personnel.

Minimum 3 years of experience in pipeline construction, maintenance, or operations environment

Must have experience in reading construction drawings.

Validate raw materials to certifications and purchase order requirements

Provide detailed, accurate feedback to shop personnel and management on inspected products

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Measure and document mechanical, electrical and visual properties of materials and parts

Document inspections in electronic logs, databases or other customer formats as required

Perform First Article Inspections (AS9102)

PMP or equivalent professional Program Management certification

1+ year of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Determine eligibility for and perform retesting and recertification of expired materials.

Knowledge of industry record keeping procedures and best practices.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root cause, and suggest corrective and preventative actions.

One to three years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

AAS in Non-Destructive Testing or General Mechanics preferred or general knowledge Non-Destructive Testing.

Strong verbal communications skills, and client-interfacing skills.

Independently performs inspections of fire truck welded components.

Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

Candidate must possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and technical ability.

Ability to consistently lift up fire safety equipment averaging weight of 35-70 lbs without assistance.

Certified by ICC, AWS, and previous qualifying experience and certification in accordance with ANSI/ASNT CP-189-2001 as a Level II MT/UT

At least five years of experience as a structural steel inspector and non-destructive testing technician

Experience with non-conformance tracking, punch list preparation, attendance at site meetings

Ability to properly interpret construction documents and prepare well-written and concise reports capturing all necessary elements

Excellent written and verbal communication, and photo documentation

High school diploma or equivalent, any previous experience in this field a plus but not necessary.

Positive customer service attitude and people skills.

Working knowledge of Fire Protection Equipment a plus

Basic knowledge in the operation of hand and power tools

Working knowledge of building and fire codes and the ability to discover and document deficiencies in the systems being inspected

Perform a variety of test preparation, in process, verification and post test tasks based on certifications, responsible areas, and work load

Demonstrable Inspection skills within a test and manufacturing environment.

Effective oral and written communications skills interpreting and performing procedure tasks as it relates to test operations in a production/manufacturing environment.

Providing a variety of inspections on components as directed by procedures

Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to execute test activities and determine if non-conformances exist

Engage with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across the test cycle to eliminate quality control issues
