Annual Salary: $50,000 to $80,000
Position
As a QA Lab Technician/Inspector, you will test and inspect materials and calibrate, using OSU and NBS chambers at various stages of production process. The QA Lab Technician/Quality Inspector compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. You will Inspect products manufactured or processed for use by our customers to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Responsibilities
- Document compliance with customer and/or regulatory procedures and quality plans.
- Document non-conformities on company rejection tags and inspection pick-up forms
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of supplier produced product, materials and tooling in all work centers.
- Audit installation kits in final inspection prior to shipping.
- Provide training and/or assistance to other inspectors in the use of procedures or tools.
- Provide information and assistance to production and supervisory personnel as well as occasional interaction with vendors and customers in their efforts to produce quality products.
Required Qualifications

- Provide information and assistance to production and supervisory personnel as well as occasional interaction with vendors and customers in their efforts to produce quality product.
- Document compliance with customer and/or regulatory procedures and quality plans.
- Provide training and/or assistance to other inspectors in the use of procedures or tools.
- Determine eligibility for and perform retesting and recertification of expired materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- The ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse workforce.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root cause, and suggest corrective and preventative actions.
- Able to use hand inspection tools.
- Able to support inspection functions in multiple work centers.
- Knowledge of industry record keeping procedures and best practices.
- Basic blueprint reading skills.
- 1+ year of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiar with digital, electronic inspection media.
Education
- Certificate from college or technical school.
- Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of above requirement.
Experience
- One to three years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Computer Skills
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
- PMP or equivalent professional Program Management certification

Pay
SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
