The Quality Inspector must be a self-starter, be organized and have good interpersonal skills

Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS),

Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

0-2 years' experience. Previous experience in Quality performing inspection. Prior medical device component inspection experience preferred.

Experience with optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure and force gage testing.

Training in blueprint reading and experience with inspection sampling techniques.

Working knowledge of shop mathematics, and CATIA or blueprint reading and interpretation.

Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance with FAA approved procedures.

Ensure the proper use and storage of area tools and equipment.

Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel. .

Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications. .

Participate in continuous improvement activities. .

Ensuring adequate training (skills-based, cGMP and safety) of associates within the department.

Be responsible to manage direct reports on day-to-day basis, including mid-year and year-end performances assessments.

Understand and apply Quality Management System (QMS) procedures

Verify that incoming goods and finished products meet all requirements as listed in the specifications

Good basic math skills (including percentages, fractions, and decimals) are required

6 months+ quality control experience preferred

Write inspection reports to capture information and submit to QC Supervisor/delegate employee

Enter Inspection reports in a timely manner into the QC Software

Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.

Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.

Completion of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum 1 year of experience is required.

3-5 years’ experience which includes Quality and/or Industry experience is preferred.

Performs inspection of various operations activities.

Identifies and reports non- conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods.

May be responsible for conducting the magnetic particle and penetrant testing of parts and initiating and processing non-conformance reports.

Assures that all products and processes represent the desired quality, safety, efficiency and reliability levels.

Support special projects as assigned by management

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

Minimum of five (5) years previous Quality Control (QC) and/or Quality Assurance (QA)experience required.

Previous experience working in a regulated medical device manufacturing plant

A technical school graduate or have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Knowledge of construction practices and principles

Intermediate mathematical skills in order to perform field calculations

2+ years in construction administration/ pipe installation/inspection/CDOT

Ability to gather and understand technical data for purposes of generating technical reports

Proficient in MS Office Suites and MS Project

Knowledgeable of dimensional tolerances in accordance with the AISC Code of Standard Practice and AWS Structural Welding Codes.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience.

1+ years of experience preferred; experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing/production environment preferred

Initiate correction request for discrepancies pertaining to DHR records, Times, Temperatures, documentation error, Quantity, etc.

Maintain spreadsheets for track and trend analysis (Samples, GDP, inspections, findings, etc.) Prepares basic/simple technical reports.

Maintain Good Record- keeping practices.

Perform data entry and operate the computer programs associated with component production, labeling, storage, and sample tube management.

Perform good inventory management practices throughout the manufacturing process.

Analyze and make decisions based on visual inspection and information provided from other departments to meet time requirements and quality standards.

Identify and quarantine products/samples that don’t meet quality requirements. Perform disposition of unacceptable products/samples.

Good communication skills, with the ability to work on a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision

Manufacture, label, test, sample, and store blood products/samples according to applicable policies and procedures.

Read prints and inspect parts to ensure they are within given tolerances.

Preform daily maintenance and cleaning of all inspection equipment.

Ensure all paperwork is completed as necessary each job.

Ensure that all gages used are within calibration standards.

Apply markings and stickers to all products as needed.

Move parts around as needed from inspection area.

Conduct inspections in accordance with prints and/or inspection forms at specified points to ensure conforming products for primary parts and sub-assemblies.

Document all inspections, both conforming & non-conforming in specified locations/software.

Report all non-conforming products/inspections & place on hold if for disposition.

Strong oral and written communication skills

In-depth knowledge of US, EU and other international regulations and guideline associated with environmental monitoring programs

Minimum of 1-3 years demonstrated leadership experience within GMP QC Microbiology

Previous experience in aseptic manufacturing highly preferred

Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Must be able to work at all NH PCI sites inclusive of remote locations
