Individual Philanthropy Officer Jobs in Iowa

3+ years of front-line experience in individual gifts development in a nationwide setting, preferably as part of a nationally deployed team.

Successful experience closing five-figure commitments including planned gifts, campaign and endowment gifts, and investment options.

Experience in a multi-national federated organization.

Establish a strategic and systematic focus on closing five-figure and above commitments from high net-worth individuals.

Conduct and/or coordinate face-to-face visits, and other activities with donors.

Meet or exceed annual individual revenue goals.

Tracks moves management and solicitation in department database.

Serves as effective spokesperson of Planned Parenthood by establishing knowledge on current local and national issues related to the mission.

Works with other members of the Development team to ensure accurate donor records, pledged bequests, and gift acknowledgement procedures.

Maintains job knowledge by attending meetings and trainings as required.

Assumes other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Develops strategies to ensure the effective and timely cultivation and solicitation of major gifts and/or planned giving activity.

2/3 years of experience in customer success, account management or operations role

Experience in high-volume Sales or Account Management roles

Analyze and prioritise your pipeline, and continuously find ways to optimise your portfolio management strategy

Open communication with management and company leadership

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related professional experience

Communication: You can adapt your communication style and manage difficult conversations, and diffuse conflict;

Be a part of a purpose-driven, committed, knowledgeable, high-performing, experienced and fun team

Experience in community engagement around natural resources conservation, agriculture, food systems, and sustainability is highly desired.

Knowledge of New England’s agricultural landscape.

Experience managing project budgeting and planning.

Proven ability to continually develop skills related to use of rapidly changing technology and communications best practices.

Good with technology and systems, experience with Raiser’s Edge/NXT is preferred.
