Immunization Field Consultant Jobs

Ability to manage complex projects and programs, including strong quantitative analytic and scenario planning skills.

Experience with health system strengthening and pro-equity approaches in low-income countries with a preference for technical expertise in immunization/vaccine preventable diseases.

Experience with research methodologies and deployment of data strategies, particularly pro-equity approaches

This position involves travel of up to 25%.

Bachelor’s and/or other advanced degree required

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Manage Florida Shots Program; update and print Florida Shorts Certificates.

0-2 years of experience in a related field. Immunization experienced preferred.

Considerable knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a field.

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care.

They are open to experience levels up to a Project Manager.

Learn advanced technical construction field knowledge of buildings and materials

Architecture or Engineering education preferred

Observe/inspect and report on construction sites

Conduct various tests on concrete and other materials

Respond as the Immunization Consultant On Call during the rotation assigned by program management to all provider calls.

One year of experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities relevant to disease prevention, health promotion, or outreach and education.

Are an excellent communicator with prior sales experience, customer service, presentation, and negotiation skills

Conduct face-to-face contact with every account assigned and captured on a timely and periodic basis

Passionately respond to customers’ concerns and resolve inquiries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction

Attend medical conventions/seminars and participate in all training programs to enhance sales and business acumen and subsequent sales performance

Have a High School diploma; bachelor’s degree highly preferred

Serves as coordinator for adult and adolescent immunization campaigns and projects.

Leads team in setting section goals and priorities.

Coordinates programs with other health care providers/organizations to promote optimal implementation of adult and adolescent immunization services.

Provides technical assistance and advice to internal and external partners related to the development, implementation, and improvement of program objectives.

Researches, prepares, and submits grant applications and grant reports.

Prepares documents, materials, and presentations for meetings.

Provide recommendations to improve overall foundation strategic planning and management process based upon experience supporting teams.

Performance management: Experienced in designing performance management systems for goals and targets and monitoring processes.

Guide strategy development process with a customer-focus orientation – e.g., effective communication – and emphasis on relationship management.

Facilitate strategy development and processes associated with budgeting, portfolio management, and other areas as needed.

Global health/development: Knowledgeable about global health and development issues, with some experience in the field preferred.

This role reports to the Deputy Director, Strategy Planning and Management (DDSPM), for Immunization.

Must have two years of nursing experience.

Must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and possess good oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to prepare and conduct in-service educational programs.

As applicable, will be required to demonstrate acceptable knowledge of nursing standards of care for specialty care area

Exercises independent judgment in providing nursing care.

Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Valued Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Assist private and public healthcare providers with program-related issues including vaccine storage incidents, inventory management, and any other program-related issues.

Review useful tools/resources from the Oklahoma State Immunization Information System (OSIIS) such as Missed Opportunities, Invalid Doses, and Coverage Rate Assessments.
