Hris Senior Business Systems Analyst Jobs in Iowa

Position title will be based on experience.

Understands business requirements and interprets into system solutions ensuring that all possible scenarios have been covered.

Develops test cases recommended for configuration changes and conduct quality assurance to ensure all business requirements have been met.

Two or more years of professional IT/HRIS experience.

Excellent logic and organizational skills

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

State minimum qualifications of education, experience, licenses or certifications.

Excellent project and process management skills

Participate in cross-functional teams to implement enterprise-wide projects (Payroll, Time and Attendance, Learning Management System)

Assist with monitoring the Workday Support ticket management system (ServiceNow)

Working knowledge of Excel; advanced Excel skills a plus (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)

Work on assigned enhancements, including gathering requirements, testing new configurations, and deploying to production

Experience with change management methodologies and project management tools.

Create and manage a business change management plan to inform all stakeholders of the proposed changes.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience

Conduct a gap analysis to determine current state and future state requirements.

Gather and document detailed requirements for the proposed changes.

Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to ensure that all requirements are captured.

Exposure to/experience with IBM Rational DOORs requirements management tool

Able to bridge business and technical communications and obtains knowledge of current system capabilities and interactions.

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

Knowledge of Black Knight products, services, and capabilities

Requires 10+ years of technical business analysis experience

Ability to write and design functional and technical business requirements

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Human Resources field (including Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Performance Management and Training).

Facilitates the day-to-day relationship with UKG Pro Executive Relationship Manager and Customer Success Manager.

Manages UKG Pro interface data transmissions to outside vendors.

Process system invoices and manages to departmental budget.

Manages the use and dissemination of employee information, data security, and data accuracy for SOX compliance and regulatory reporting.

Supports all APEI education unit subsidiaries with system configurations and performs ongoing maintenance based on business needs.
