Housekeeping Quality Assurance Manager Jobs

Develop and present effective training programs for housekeeping department inclusive of hourly, supervisory and management training

Participate with management in analyzing and addressing team member opinion surveys, Medallia, shops and performance issues as needed

Work with management to create and implement incentive programs

Promote management/supervisory and team member development

Is polite, friendly, and helpful to applicants, guests, co-workers, management, and business partners

Minimum 3 years experience as a Housekeeping or Training Manager in a similar operation or equivalent experience

One (1) year of experience in Hotel Management

Able to deal and interact with management, employees, and guests in an effective and diplomatic manner

Knowledgeable of all cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies

Strong leadership qualities and sound judgment with effective decision-making and problem solving skills

Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts

Organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, within established deadlines and attention to detail

The Housekeeping Manager will oversee the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments

Excellent communication, listening skills, and a great eye for detail

Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required and experience with the specific brand hotel or upscale property is an added plus

Ensure compliance with processes and procedures for cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction

Ensures property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained

Execute leadership tasks such as financials, payroll, scheduling, etc.

Monitors guest room attendants in the proper placement of guest amenities in rooms

Assist in staffing, scheduling, training and developing guest room attendants, housekeeping heavy porters and all hourly housekeeping staff.

Continually checks to make sure team members have all the necessary supplies, equipment and tools to execute their task

Fully utilize and monitor all operating systems to ensure proper accountability of all employees, supplies and procedures

Coordinates efforts with other Departments to ensure guestroom, public areas and storage areas remain fully functional

Properly handles guest or maintenance request and repeatedly follows up to guarantee these things are completed to Ocean Casino Resort standards

Previous housekeeping management experience, with thorough knowledge of all housekeeping procedures.

Provides supervision of assigned Housekeeping associates to ensure job duties are completed.

Trains associates regarding job duties and quality standards.

Other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Manager.

Supervisory skills, with the ability to successfully develop and retain a quality staff and maintain harmonious associate relations.

Good interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills.
