We are looking to hire Registered Nurses & Licensed Practical Nurses

in Nassau County, Suffolk County & Queens.

Environ Assistant Floor/Special Project Team

Clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work area following established policies and procedures.

Environmental Assistant Floor/Special Project Team:

Provide medication management for clients

Visit clients at home to evaluate for services

A current Massachusetts RN/LPN license with at least 2 years nursing experience

Strong clinical and computer skills

The ability to prioritize and demonstrate problem solving skills.

Previous home care experience is preferred; Medicare/Certified service experience is not required.

Teaches the children necessary life skills and provide for their physical daily care.

Improves children’s behavior through coping skills and other therapeutic interventions.

Assists in treatment planning for each child.

Conducts daily documentation such as contact notes, milieu notes, and precautionary notes.

Participates in client transports to various locations

Participates in recreation therapy with children.

Experience In Staff Development And Training Preferred..

During induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia

With the placement of regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.

Retrieves and drugs to drug delivery system

With pain blocks, epidurals, spinals, line placement and patient positioning

Calibrates and runs Quality Control and Quality Assurance analysis

Prior customer service experience in either a sales/retail environment or cash management environment.

Performs all required data entry and filing associated with the process. Maintains strictest confidentiality of patient information.

Completes medication order entry, fills unit dose medication cassettes, and prepares sterile products per hospital policy and applicable regulations.

Assists in preparation of intravenous solutions, respiratory drugs, admixtures, TPN and intravenous antibiotics by using aseptic techniques.

Accurately prepares, packages, documents, and labels drug products.

Performs functions related to drug purchasing, inventory control procedures, controlled substance preparation and records. Completes billing, stocking, and computer order entry.

Distributes drugs to patient medication drawer or tray, delivers medications to floor, and records units dispensed/returned.

Extensive 2-4 weeks of orientation

5-7 home visits per day

Formal education and training leading to LPN/RN.

Previous experience in an urgent care center or ER preferred
