Experience with statistical methods such as survival and regression analyses

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Build, manage and defend the HEOR operating budget

· Experience in contributing to publication strategy and execution

· Experience in concepting, designing and managing claims analyses supporting strategy and working with vendors as needed.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance

· Excellent written and oral communication skills required

What is the minimum education experience required?:

• Significant programming experience using CMS Medicare or Medicaid data.

• Required: Experience with data analysis, data ingestion and data visualization

• Experience with version control systems

• Knowledge of efficient, deep programming practices and the software development life cycle

• Generate RWE using in-house retrospective data sources, with a focus on Medicare/Medicaid data.

· Manage relationships and budgets with vendors to ensure timely completion of high quality, projects

· Understanding and knowledge and application of epidemiological/health outcomes methodology within pharmaceutical industry at an international level.

· Scientific expertise in oncology with knowledge of different data sources

· Demonstrated expertise in analytical, judgment and problem-solving skills.

The Associate Director reports to the Asset Lead, Oncology Outcomes Research

· Translate output from research into tools and resources for field teams

Knowledge and experience in value communications, including development of value messages and core / global value dossiers

Project delivery from a technical leadership perspective aligned to team specialist skills and services which include:

At least 3 years’ professional experience in HEOR or market access, preferably in a consultancy, HTA agency or pharmaceutical environment

Technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information as a cohesive narrative

Clinical research, including desk-based research through to semi-systematic review

Development and writing of reimbursement strategies and dossiers for submission to health technology assessment (HTA) agencies in the US and beyond

Strong time-management and organizational skills

Identify new HEVA evidence generation opportunities to maximize lifecycle management

Interacts with senior level management providing high level strategies and long term vision of assigned work

Manage the HEVA evidence generation strategy

Manage team budgets and execution of ongoing studies according to budget and timeline expectations

Sets strategic evidence generation priorities and direction for assigned responsibilities and is able to incorporate this into appropriate planning documents

Support management of allocated project budgets to align with priorities and spend forecasts, including tracking invoices and updating internal budget system

6 months - 3 years of Internship, Fellowship or industry experience needed

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Rare or complex disease experience preferred • Experience with International alliances, partnerships, and distributors is helpful

• Provide medical and scientific HEOR support for Horizon’s pipeline assets focusing on patient-reported outcomes

• Presenting formally and informally the results of research to a diverse group of stakeholders.

• Building integrated RWE generation and communication plans in close collaborations with the product asset team.

Provides statistical methodology and project management support in the delivery of standard and custom studies

Manages all aspects of data loading, prep, and analysis on established IQVIA data assets (eg. Pharmetrics Plus, N US claims)

Explains benefits and limitations as needed to IQVIA and client stakeholders

Master's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics with 0-3 years of experience OR Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics with no industry experience required

SAS and/or SQL programming experience
