Responsibilities / Position Overview


We are seeking a health economics or life sciences professional with superior writing skills to join our HTA and Value Communications team within our wider Health Economics and Outcomes Research division as a Senior Research Associate. The Senior Research Associate will have multifaceted responsibilities spanning project delivery, business development, client engagement, and team management.


Key duties include:
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team to ensure that project deliverables are aligned to overarching project objectives and agreed narrative
  • Project and task management, including time and workload management to ensure that multiple deliverables are delivered on time and to the expected quality
  • Involvement in recruitment process and decisions, team induction / onboarding and learning and development programs
  • Involvement in reactive and proactive business development activities, including potential project scoping, proposal and budget development
  • Clinical research, including desk-based research through to semi-systematic review
  • Development and writing of reimbursement strategies and dossiers for submission to health technology assessment (HTA) agencies in the US and beyond
  • Project delivery from a technical leadership perspective aligned to team specialist skills and services which include:
  • Involvement in team management, which could include line management for up to 5 team members and/or on-project mentoring and support for technical team members
  • Development and writing of value propositions and dossiers to support market launch of new products in the US and for US clients with global remits


Qualifications


We are looking for an enthusiastic visionary with a flexible and team-focused approach and a desire to play a key role in our committed HTA & Value Communications team.


Specific skills and experience required include:


  • Good communication skills with the ability to adapt communication tactics depending on topic and audience and confidence communicating with multiple, varying stakeholders
  • Knowledge of and experience in US market access, including development of Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) unapproved and approved product dossiers and US payer pre-approval information exchange (PIE) and health care economic information (HCEI) materials
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects to scope (including quality, timelines and budgets) and resolve issues and challenges as they arise
  • Knowledge and experience in value communications, including development of value messages and core / global value dossiers
  • Technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information as a cohesive narrative
  • A relevant academic background in HEOR or life sciences
  • Technical clinical research and analysis skills specific to HEOR evidence generation and synthesis with the ability to identify and interpret complex information
  • At least 3 years’ professional experience in HEOR or market access, preferably in a consultancy, HTA agency or pharmaceutical environment

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $80,000-$148,000. The salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission), if applicable.
