Although responsibilities will vary by department, the following are examples of typical job duties:

Currently pursuing a Finance or Accounting undergraduate degree or a related graduate-level business degree/certificate (MBA, MAcc, Accounting Certificate, etc.)

Cumulative and Finance/Accounting GPA of 3.0 or better maintained throughout the program

Completion of an intermediate Finance and/or Accounting course

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, most importantly Microsoft Excel

Audit walkthroughs and control testing

Time-management skills and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

Effective interpersonal skills and proven leadership experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Reviewing of management fee calculations and billing statements

Manage the cash balance of each fund to determine the need for capital calls, distributions, etc.

Prepare client reports and summaries for portfolios managed under Blackstone Insurance Solutions

4+ years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration

Strong technical accounting and analytical skills

Prepare, review and post J/E into Investran (G/L accounting system)

Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; knowledge of Google Apps and virtual meeting tools is also desirable.

Experience with applied research, literature reviews, strategy research and development, and/or MEL.
