Ground Up Superintendent Jobs

Oversee and manage grading, excavation, and demolition projects to ensure successful completion.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and implement project plans.

Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and ensure client satisfaction.

Provide leadership and guidance to the field team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and construction standards.

Supervise and schedule labor, equipment, and material resources to optimize project efficiency.

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Remote based position with regular travel for on-site project management of construction activities.

Demonstrated skills in project management.

Proactively communicates project related issues directly with Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director.

Confirms and verifies permitting requirements related to the project or program.

Directly manages and monitors project work in the field.

Diligently manages change orders to projects.

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred (or relevant experience)

Maintaining the Construction Management Plan and logistical co-ordination.

Working with and coaching field engineers on the project to facilitate their skills development.

5+ years of Lead Superintendent experience (running own projects)

Multifamily project experience highly preferred

Schedule material deliveries and manage all long lead procurement items.

5 years (MINIMUM) experience in commercial construction building ground up projects

Must be skilled in reading and interpreting plans and specifications

Multifamily experience is a plus.

Oversee ground up multifamily projects ($20M-$60M) from cradle to grave.

Coordinate and supervise all field construction activities.
