Ground Up Superintendent Jobs

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Ground up Superintendent to join our team at a highly respected general contractor in the local area. Multifamily experience is a plus.

The Superintendent will manage schedules including short term schedules to make sure all is ahead of scheduled dates, prepare and submit daily reports, attend project meetings including all subcontractor meetings, and review all invoices. Responsibilities

• Schedule material deliveries and manage all long lead procurement items.
• Produce detailed field Daily Reports.
• Understand the project plans and specifications prior to any scheduled work performed.
• Coordinate and supervise all field construction activities.
• Schedule inspections as necessary throughout construction process.
• Coordinate all site construction activities and supervise all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and in budget. This includes maintaining a high level of quality control, supervising all field/trade personnel, while administering good safety practices with all on site activities.
• Direct all field personnel and subcontractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
• Oversee ground up multifamily projects ($20M-$60M) from cradle to grave.
• Maintain positive relationships with all clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other employees.
• Maintain an organized job site.
• Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• Must be skilled in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Must Possess valid Driver’s License and vehicle
• 5 years (MINIMUM) experience in commercial construction building ground up projects
• Multifamily experience preferred
• Must have technical understanding of construction means and methods
