About Our Client
Our client is an established General Contractor and Construction Management firm based just 15 miles Southwest of Boston. They specialize in the adaptive rehabilitation, occupied renovation, and new development of multifamily housing throughout the Greater Boston Area. These projects typically range from $20M to $50M with a focus in the senior living and affordable/rental housing sectors. Over their 20+ years in business, our client has established themselves as a leader in quality and professionalism, resulting in a majority of their work coming from repeat clients. With a solid pipeline of work ahead, they are ready to grow their team by bringing on an experienced Superintendent.

The Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Projects up to $50M will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining the Construction Management Plan and logistical co-ordination.
  • Monitoring production and record rates in logbook to be used for future scheduling.
  • Monitoring job progress on-site, checking all work to ensure compliance with contract documents and the Quality Control Program.
  • Checking and verifying subcontractor layout to ensure compliance with established control, line and grade.
  • Planning and preparing documentation to facilitate the close out process at the discretion of the Superintendent.
  • Maintaining a set of production documents and update daily so an accurate picture of work in place is consistently maintained.
  • Supporting contract, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications under direction from the Superintendent.
  • Working with and coaching field engineers on the project to facilitate their skills development.

The Successful Applicant
The Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Projects up to $50M will have:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Multifamily project experience highly preferred
  • Ability to communicate with subcontractors and other project team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • MA-CSL
  • 5+ years of Lead Superintendent experience (running own projects)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred (or relevant experience)
