Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, marketing, related field or equivalent experience

Experience working in a fast paced / high volume environment

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems or resume databases, preferred

FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OR PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:

Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements

Assist in administering benefits, recruiting efforts, compensation, and employee performance programs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Assist with email management, including sorting, responding, and prioritizing incoming messages

Provide general administrative support, such as file management, record-keeping, and invoice processing

Proficient in using virtual communication tools and software, such as video conferencing platforms, project management tools, and cloud-based document sharing platforms

Manage and maintain calendars, schedules, and appointments for team members

Perform data entry and maintain databases accurately

Good interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students

Experience with adolescents and teaching the SAT and ACT - you need to have an ability to relate easily to teenagers!

A passion for teaching (and learning too)

A minimum of 500 combined tutoring session hours tutoring GMAT, GRE, SAT, and ACT

Demonstrated ability on the SAT or ACT (95th percentile scores)

Conserve manager's time by assuming administrative details

Manage all aspects of office administration using independent thinking and judgment with sole discretion for office procedures

Manage office using common systems and advanced technology when appropriate (e.g. electronic mail, internet, ergonomically designed tools, software packages, paperless systems)

Vacuum all stairs, carpet, hard surface floors and furniture

Move all reasonably moveable furniture to clean under and behind
