General Foreman Industrial Services Jobs

Knowledge and experience in labor and painter responsibilities.

Knowledge and experience in industrial painting and sandblasting techniques.

Ability to read, and understand, fabrication drawings for paint requirements and holdbacks

Ability to monitor all environmental requirements as well as the ability to perform all inspection requirements.

Good knowledge and understanding of Thompson Metal Fab safety policies and procedures.

Physical fitness sufficient to satisfactorily perform daily job duties and heavy lifting assignments.

Strong management and leadership experience

Time spent in mid to large size companies

This role is based in-office 3 days a week.

Utilize WISP tool to ensure efficient and effective people management impacting both people experience and budget

Minimum of ten years facilities/project management experience or relevant experience

Excellent planning skills with the ability to establish and manage priorities

Outstanding organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks

Bachelor’s Degree or advanced education preferred, with proven ability to learn and apply, along with strong problem-solving skills

Implement, manage and audit Site Security Access process, including badge protocols

Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills

Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Construction Foreman/Superintendent level or higher experience in industrial or commercial settings

Rigging certification and CDL a plus but not required

Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment

Work as a team with the entire Self-Perform Construction department

Oversee execution of work, including quality and production

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to perform all foreman job responsibilities

5+ Years as a Foreman performing similar job duties listed above Lift and/or pull 50lbs.

Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to piping systems

Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
