Job Description
What to Expect

Tesla is looking for a Foreman to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires exceptional talent. The product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines, and requirements demand cell production volume at a scale which was once thought to be impossible to reach. The position is in Sparks, NV.

What You’ll Do
  • Use complex schematics and blueprints to plan work scopes, install requested improvements, and troubleshoot and correct problems
  • Maintains safety by modeling behaviors and performing corrective action when appropriate
  • Oversee execution of work, including quality and production
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and supervision to the CSA team
  • Work as a team with the entire Self-Perform Construction department
  • Display a positive attitude and practice good work ethic reflective of the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Consulting manuals, read and interpret diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and schematics
  • Drive success through KPI’s
What You’ll Bring
  • Ability and desire to pursue getting a general Contractor’s License
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of Construction Foreman/Superintendent level or higher experience in industrial or commercial settings
  • Rigging certification and CDL a plus but not required
  • Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment
  • Able to work 10 hours per day, 50 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts
  • Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain
  • Able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds, pushing and pulling of objects is required with repetitive use of arms, fingers and hands
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching
