Freight Allocation Analyst Jobs

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong personal management and problem solving skills.

Knowledge of Macy’s systems including FLO, Log Portal, EDI, Supply Chain/Transportation, and Accounts payable.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Process timely and accurate allocation of freight invoices.

Ensure processing of payment and resolve 3rd Party Payment Provider reject issues.

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience

Generate insightful analysis, reporting, and data visualizations to answer critical business questions, proactively identify notable trends, and communicate business performance

Tableau, Power BI, or other equivalent data visualization systems experience

Provide recommendations on short- and long-term fixes to operational challenges

Financial literacy in accounts receivable, payable, or budgeting processes

Requires fluency in English (oral and written)

Analytics of Sales, Inventory and Receipt Management

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

1-2 years equivalent work experience

Efficient verbal and written communication skills

Retail software experience, a plus (JDA or Other Allocation Software)

Support end of month inventory plan achievement and strategic initiatives for assigned Regions/Stores/Product areas.
